A Festival Celebrating Mental Wealth - 2016

On behalf of Books Beyond Words and City Lit, we would like to thank everyone who was involved in making the Mental Wealth Festival a success.

The Mental Wealth Festival ran for three days with over 700 people attending the festival. We’ve had inspiring talks and contributions by comedian and mental wellbeing advocate Ruby Wax, film star and Hacked Off campaigner Hugh Grant, writer and communicator Alastair Campbell and authors Paul Dolan and Toby Litt.

The festival featured 70 events, including sessions with Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O’Connor who reflected on spirituality and wellbeing, ‘Mental Health and Homelessness’ with Lord John Bird, co-founder of The Big Issue and ‘Mind your own Business’ exploring the workplace and mental wellbeing as well as a variety of creative workshops.
