About James Withey - The Recovery Letters
James is the founder of The Recovery Letters project which publishes online letters by people recovering from depression, addressed to those experiencing it now.
James is the co-editor of 'The Recovery Letters: Addressed to People Experiencing Depression' book which was selected as a World Book Night title in 2018.
James has spoken about depression on BBC Radio 4, BBC World Service, Sky TV and on radio stations and podcasts around the world. Amongst other publications he has written for Vanity Fair, Female First and The Daily Mirror.
James lives alongside clinical depression.
